Serving the broader Auckland and northern Auckland regions, Windowmakers’ high-quality windows and doors can be found in many homes within the new developments in Hobsonville Point, Silverdale, Millwater, Kumeu, and Long Bay. With each of the aluminium joinery products we produce is capable of withstanding the harshest realities of the New Zealand climate.
How we operate.
Windowmakers partners with APL (Architectural Profiles Limited), New Zealand's leader in aluminium window and door systems. This partnership ensures that each window and door meet all codes and requirements, including the recently updated H1 standards. APL handles the extrusion and development of our cutting-edge aluminium joinery systems. Then passed on to our purpose-built factory in Wainui for the custom fabrication and assembly of your aluminium doors and windows, tailored to your specific plans and specifications.
We prioritise a collaborative approach that engages key stakeholders—architects, building companies, main contractors, and homeowners—in the design and execution of aluminium doors and windows.
Our meticulous seven-step process, “The Windowmakers Way,” keeps all parties actively involved and informed throughout the aluminium joinery fabrication of your project, ensuring a journey that is entirely personalised and specific to you. Heidi Johnston, the Managing Director of Windowmakers, proudly leads the team with an intimate understanding of what makes Windowmakers excel. Having owned and run the company for over 20 years, Heidi brings decades of experience in aluminium joinery fabrication. Over the years, Heidi has served on the AAJ NAG for BCITO and twice as an executive of the Window and Glass Association of NZ. Her wealth of knowledge ensures the production of high-quality windows and doors that make buildings better.
