New Zealand’s Largest Twin Saw

Date: 6 Nov 2024

Since moving to our purpose-built 5,500 sqm factory in April, we've focused on enhancing our state-of-the-art machining centre—investing in advanced machinery and a streamlined production flow to ensure your aluminium joinery is crafted on time and to impeccable standards.

Yesterday marked a major milestone in the development of our machining centre with the installation of New Zealand’s largest Twin Saw, the Model RS 600. This represents a significant advance in precision and efficiency—a reflection of our commitment to delivering high-quality windows and doors for our customers.

Model RS 600.

Fully enclosed with cabin lighting, soundproofing, and a swarf conveyor for debris management, the RS 600 was designed with both performance and operator safety in mind. This saw also has the capacity to handle profiles up to 243mm in width, which means we’re equipped to tackle even larger, more complex aluminium joinery projects with ease.

Installation.

Installing the RS 600 required a collaborative team effort. Preparation started well in advance to ensure that all connections were ready. On installation day, the team from APL Direct coordinated with our team to operate a 3.5-ton forklift and pallet trucks to position the saw precisely. Once the saw was in place, electricians completed the final connections.

Our new Twin Saw is a testament to what sets Windowmakers apart from the competition: our commitment to lead the aluminium door and window industry in precision, efficiency, and quality.

Choose Windowmakers for your aluminium joinery needs and experience the difference that cutting-edge technology and a dedicated team can make. Contact us today to get started on your high-quality windows and doors!
