Windowmakers Celebrates Official Opening with Customer Event

On Thursday 3rd October, Windowmakers proudly celebrated the official opening of its purpose-built 5,500 sqm facility with our valued customers. This new facility marks a significant milestone in our journey and represents our commitment to innovation and excellence in the aluminium joinery industry. 

The evening was both a celebration and an opportunity to showcase the advanced capabilities of our new factory. Guests enjoyed exclusive tours highlighting the state-of-the-art machining centre and straight-line production layout designed for enhanced precision and efficiency—demonstrating how these innovations set Windowmakers apart from other aluminium door and window manufacturers. 

We were thrilled to have Auckland Mayor Wayne Brown join us for the occasion, officially cutting the ribbon to open the doors to Windowmakers.

He expressed his best wishes for our company, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for us. Here are some kind words from the mayor to commemorate the occasion: 

“It’s fantastic to see how well this new facility has come together and been repurposed for this exciting venture. From the horse academy to the film studio, there’s so much potential here, and the finished facility truly reflects the passion of Heidi and Bruce. As someone who has been in the industry my whole life, I can say their commitment to excellence is evident, and it’s clear they are dedicated to making a positive impact in the construction industry.” 

The event was lively and full of camaraderie, providing customers with the opportunity to connect with our team and fellow industry partners. We shared moments of reflection on our journey so far while also looking forward to the exciting opportunities that our new facility will bring. Heidi Johnston, our Managing Director, shared her enthusiasm during the event: 

“Those of you who have seen around the factory, hopefully, you can appreciate the vision for straight-line manufacturing—faster, quicker, stronger, and bigger than anybody else. That's the plan, and that's the goal. If we can make you successful, we will be successful too, and that's what we aim to do: provide aluminium joinery solutions that enhance the quality and performance of your buildings.”
